I am an experimental psychology graduate student at the University of Memphis. My research is primarily conducted in the Cognitive Science and Educational Practice Lab (CSEP), under the supervision of Dr. Danielle McNamara. In the CSEP lab, I have the opportunity to use empirical and applied techniques in cognitive psychology, linguistics, and computer science to guide my current work in text comprehension, language representation/processing, and applied forensic research. I strongly believe in an interdisciplinary approach for understanding how the brain processes and represents information. This framework has also been useful in my goal to extend theoretical knowledge to solve real-world problems.
